Robert C. Young was born April 7, 1836 in Middletown, CT. He was the son of Enoch C. Young and Esther Clark, the nephew of Elizabeth Young Otis, and the first cousin of Daniel H. Otis.
Robert died on Thursday, June 15, 1905, at age 69 in Middletown, CT.

The horribly indecipherable script is not Robert's hand, as the same script is found on several other individual's wills in the collection. Shame on the person who hired this individual to keep written records of public documents! Their writing is barely legible!
